Caribbean Production Finished

Kids doing donuts in Codrington Lagoon, Barbuda Island - video still, Tom Miller

PrettyGoodProduction's newest project, the extensive research, film workshop, and climate change documentary project, Our Place on Earth (OPOE), just completed filming in the Caribbean. From July to September, OPOE traveled to 6 islands in the Caribbean, meeting with Ministry officials, NGOs, community groups, and locals, to get an inside look of the impacts of climate change to these islands and what is being done in response. Along the way, OPOE discovered some great stories and met wonderful and inspiring people doing great work across the Caribbean.

You can read about OPOE's travels on their blog, see photos of an underwater sculpture garden and carnival in Grenada, and see the first OPOE On The Road video, released September 4th, by their partner, Ensia Magazine.

On September 16th, OPOE will journey to Nicaragua to begin the second phase of their travels. Along with our blog, you can follow OPOE's Central American journey through photos on Instagram, and keep in touch through Facebook and Twitter as well.
